I am a member of Link Exchange. My site has very low hits so the banner gets minimal exposure. I have not had eany click throughs.
Does eanyone know of eany Free banner exchanges that give you tons of free exposures that does not have paid advertisements in the same network?
If the banner can't help a low hit site why am I wasting the space and download time?
Also are there eany sites that offer a database of sites looking for reciprical links? I found one that suked and forgot the url.

I would not expect a ton of hits coming from a banner exchange, I looked at my banner stats and in July I have had 513 banner views and only 1 click through. I use banner exchanges mainly so people will at least hear about my site and maybe even click through.

The answer is "quality". The reason many people get so low clicks is because often times lack of targeting, poor (member) banners, banners in poor slots, and lots of cheaters.

That is where Traffic Exchange comes in.
A banner and button exchange that offers loads of features to help members get more hits.

One of the most used features that currently only 2 other exhanges have is Smart Stats
this is where show you the url your banner has been seen on. We also provide 3:2 ratio, use up to 5 banners and more. So check us out at http://www.traffic-exchange.com

Personally, I think banner advertising is a waste of time. On average (in my experience) I get about $1.50 for every 5000 HITS.

Unless your site is large, be it banner advertising or banner exchange it is not worth it unless you have high volume. Try alternate means of making an income. (Affiliates, etc)

Yeah banner exchanges suck, UNLESS, you know which ones to join. I did a whole lot of research on this and found that if you subscribe to one's like LinkExchange and such, you don't get the traffic they say you will. What I did was find sites that offer their own banner exchange network consistent with your site content, and come to findout, they work. Atleast for me they do.

agreed, the smaller targeted banner exchanges are the way to go for traffic if ur gonna go with a banner exchange at all.

All I have to say to that is "we" are not that other exchange you guys were dealing with. We are online nearly 24 hours a day making sure our members banners are getting a "fair" chance of being clicked by only accepting quality sites and those with banners in good places.

We have lots of benifits that we give members including our referral program and we allow up to 5 banners. Most importantly as I said before we have Smart Stats. How many other exhanges do you know out their actually "show" you the url's your banner has been on. We have nothing to hide and we even show you the real time I.P. logs.

So yes I agree most exchanges are bad but I think we need to make it clear not "all" because ours is far from that.
