I have decent experience with php(written cms's before, and use OOP), im just looking for a book that will help me improve my technique or way of writing apps

Sorry, thought you were pretty new and just looking for some help. Not sure of a good book then. Honestly I have learned many techniques here by asking questions that created controversy (got many sides - like a debate).
