Hi there,

I want to know one thing.

Is the post count increments for posting in different threads only? If I have already replied in one post and then reply again then the count is constant. Only when I am posting in different threads, the count is increasing.

I have no idea. Logically it should be for all posts. Why does it matter anyway?

I think your right. Post count seems to only go up after each new different thread post not every post.

no it is not like that! but posts in general chat and introductions do not count!
also if you're using the quick reply the right post count will be displayed in your profile that is next to your last post

Not only for quick reply but for reply too, the post count remains same unless we post in different thread.

And yeah, post count never increases for General Chat forum

Well I've never witnessed such a thing! post count increases everytime you post (in the same thread or in different threads) unless you're posting in GC or intros

I think what happens is that you look at two of your posts in the same thread and assume that the previous post should have a lower number than the later one. That is not so. The post you had before will have changed the post count number to same as the last post.

When I started to post I was confused about that as well.
