A little history for this one. This picture was taken in July 2005 in Houston Texas. The building you see is the "new" Enron building. Or it was when it was originally built. Enron started building it around 1999. The reflected building is the original Enron building. I was no longer in Houston when Enron fell, but I'm pretty sure the new building wasn't fully occupied by then, if it was even finished.

Uhhh - wow - all of the above are fabulous. Highrises and city buildings in general are great for this subject matter. Manmade structures have given us some real beauty.

Thank you Andy . Yes, we have made sure to be surrounded by many trees, giving a canapé all above. I watch a lot of little wildlife right there in front of me. It is also quiet and peaceful. When I rest my eyes, they are getting a true rest.

Oooo! That's a neat one!

This afternoon I went after another kind of reflection: a lens flare. The sun was incredibly bright over the water, blinding reflection off of it. So I held the camera to create a flare. It turned out great I think, the direction of the flare following right along with the composition.

This late afternoon the sky was embellished with a beautiful rainbow. I caught its reflection as it smiled at me from the surface of a puddle.

Nothing to spectacular, but this caught my eye and I thought it was fun.



You can just make me out in the far, left edge.

Datura, that's a bit of an ironic photo. You took a picture of a reflection of a rainbow...and yet, a rainbow is the spectrum of light due to the reflection and refraction of light against water droplets. Nice grab.

If you go into the sky thread, there I have the picture of the rainbow itself. You can tell by the two tall pines that are in both photos.

Photo I took of the Cira Center in Philadelphia as seen from Drexel's campus this afternoon... you can see the sky reflected from its glass sides.







At times it almost blends into the sky as if it's not there.
