There are many good products out there, but the best is IMS Web Spinner by Virtual Mechanics. I am so impressed that I am thinking of upgrading to their pro version IMS Web Engine. They also have a freeware version called IMS Web Dwarf. WYSIWYG at its best! Positionning by drag and drop, lets you import your files and other pages without messing up your code and does more advance animation than any other product I know.Great to play with! I found it going through reviews at software sites. The company URL is www.virtualmechanics.com
It sounds like you work for them, but I'll reply as if you didn't...
I think Dreamweaver 2 is the best. I have one template that my whole site is designed around, and it is really easy to update everything! Check my review of it at http://www.fourthdev.com/software/reviews/dw2.htm
I used Web Spinner which I got from Beyond.com when they had a special money back ofer. I liked it so much I up-graded to Ims Web Engine and would like to tell you how impressed I am with this software.
I have used a number of editors including FrontPage, shareware and
freeware editors and this is the best, it is the only true drag and drop editor no matter what the others say. When you take into account the very low price it is worth every penny.
Well I'm curently using 2 editors!! Microsoft's Frontpage 2000 and Macromedia's Dreamweaver 3.0!!!
First MS FP 2000 is a really sweet html editor1 But it is not jsut html, it is also, java, dhtml, and may others!! You can have a premade layout done for you in the proram or make one yourself! FP uses a "theme" sort of thing and it is really kool how everything you do is basses off that Theme. the colors, font, BG, Naviagation etc!! If you want to learn more on FP 2000 go here http://www.microsoft.com/INSIDER/fro...00/default.htm
DW 2.01 is what I have ben using for a few years until i recently got FP! But as I'm very use to DW and still don't know all the options DW has to offer DW is far one of the best editors. It also supports html, dhtml, java, and many others too!! DW is not really a easy editor to use, but if you know all about it it can save hours of time and can handle about anything you want to make!! DW will cost a bit more that FP but it is well worth the cost! To find out more info on Dreamweaver 2.0-3.0 go here!! http://www.macromedia.com/software/dreamweaver/
If you have any questionf for me about any of theses Products please feel free to contact me by email!! thanx!!
