    Checking image dimensions

Hey, I got an avatar system on my site where you can either load an image up or use an external link. It all works like a charm, but now I want to check both the uploaded and the external link images on image dimensions, so there won't be images bigger than, say 90x90. The links shouldn't surpass 20Kb, either. That filesize for the uploaded image's pretty much taken care of in the upload form.

See getimagesize() function in PHP manual. It does all work for you like a charm. Lol.
Mistakes are proof that you are trying.....

Woah momma, I didn't think there'd be anything like that, and that I would have to go with GDI (which's why I didn't check the PHP manual yet )
    Thanks

I think you have read on the manual that getimagesize() function does not require GD image library installed.

It doesn't seem to check filesize, but how big can a 90x90 image be? The dimensions-check works like a charm now.

getimagesize() will also tell you if the image is really an image.
    Logic without the fatal effects.
