Disabling buttons in FireFox

    This script works in IE but not FF.... any ideas why?

    document.getElementById("btnSend").disabled = true;
    document.getElementById("btnSend").value = 'Sending';

    Perhaps the button has a name but not an ID? IE handles such cases incorrectly.

    P.S. It would be helpful if you put your code between

tags in the future.

    It works for me.

    Make sure you've got the ID attribute right, and remember that IDs are case-sensitive. Do you have a <input id="btnSend"...> tag in your markup
