    Hello ppl!

    I have a button (with a image) calling the SaveAs dialog to save a web page. In ie4 it works. The code is this :

    <script language="JavaScript">

    var isReady = false;
    function doSaveAs(){
    if (document.execCommand){
    if (isReady){document.execCommand("SaveAs");}
    }else{
    alert('Feature available only in Internet Exlorer 4.0 and later.');
    }
    }

    </script>

    <body onload="isReady=true">

    ----But in netscape it doens´t work! Can anyone help me or explain? I really need help on this quest. ----

    thanx !!

    Hi,

    'execCommand' is an activeX object which is only recognized by IE-compatible browsers.
