I'm working on this page. I'm using this function to show or hide various elements on a page:

Code:
function showHide(elementID, show){
	var el = document.getElementById(elementID);
	if(show){
		el.style.display = '';
	} else {
		el.style.display = 'none';
	}
	return false;
}
The HTML to trigger it looks something like this:

HTML Code:
<p class="showHideLinks">
	<a href="../_images/docTypesBeta.gif" id="show2" onclick="showHide('prototype2', 1); showHide('show2', 0); showHide('hide2', 1); return false;" >Show</a>
	<a href="#" id="hide2" onclick="showHide('prototype2', 0); showHide('show2', 1); showHide('hide2', 0);" style="display: none;" >Hide</a>
</p>
Everything works fine except that when you click on a "hide" link, since they all have href="#", it naturally takes you to the top of the page. Is there anything I can do to prevent that?
