    Why is IE adding this margin?

    The red border was added so I could see the boundaries of the DIV. In FF there is no white space at the bottom between the black line and the red border. I think I set all margins to zero but it's still there. Any help?

    Code CSS:
    p {font:arial, helvetica; font-size: 13px; color: #6a6a6a; margin-top: 0px;}

    body {
    margin-top: 0px;
    text-align: center;
    }

    #container {
    text-align: left;
    width: 780px;
    margin-left: auto;
    margin-right: auto;
    }

    #head {
    background: url(images/head.jpg);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    height: 19px;
    padding-top: 152px;
    margin-bottom: 0px;
    padding-bottom: 0px;
    }

    #menu {
    border: solid red 1px;
    height: 19px;
    margin-bottom: 0px;
    padding-bottom: 0px;
    }

    #content {

    }

    #index_bar {
    float: right;
    clear: right;
    }

    a img {
    border: 0px;
    margin-bottom: 0px;
    padding-bottom: 0px;
    }

    I don't have time to look too closely at your page code, but did notice that you are not using a full doctype... fix that first and then see how the page renders. Also, I can see the page using firefox, but it doesn't show at all in IE7.

    Problem solved... I haven't done any CSS in a while and totally forgot. Thanks so much. I was about to pull my hair out.
