Copy and past locked in principles of beautiful web design pdf?

I need the ability to copy and past in my browser the many urls to website templates that the book uses with the explanations throughout the book. I think that the pdf version of the book has the copy and paste functionality blocked. The same problem was with the pdf of "Build your own ruby on rails web applications" and after some user feedbacks sitepoint republished the pdf without the lock to give the opportunity to copy and paste the code in the book. Is the same scenario in this pdf?

You should be able to just click on the links in the PDF, but tbh I haven't noticed this issue myself (just got it yesterday).

Could you try Adobe Acrobat for OS X and see if it's the same issue? If not it might be worth submitting a feature request for your PDF viewer.

I use Preview on the Mac also. For my copy, I have no problems selecting and copying text. The web URLs that I have tried are hyperlinks and clicking on them will open the page in my primary browser FireFox.

Infact with other pdfs i also can use hyperlinks but with this one if i put my mouse pointer over a link the pointer becomes a text select tool and anyway i can't select/copy and paste that link test.

Hi guys. I updated this PDF recently to include errata, so I'll check whether something happened with the regenerated file.

Skyblaze I just created myself a stamped version of this PDF and tested it in both Adobe Reader and OS X Preview, and had no problem copy/pasting text or clicking on the URLs.

I'm not sure why you're experiencing this, but you do seem to be the only one with this problem. Are you running Panther 10.3 or Tiger 10.4?

Could you let me know if the same problem occurs for you in the latest version of Adobe Reader?
