    display broken in firefox

firefox is showing some strange behaviour, and it has been same ever since I started using this pc

pages show blue marks at different places and there is long hrizonatal scroll and vertical scroll for pages which makes them totally unreadable

you can see the attached screenshot ( also notice the long scrolls)

does any one hav an idea that what is causing this, thing are all ok in IE and even in ff the problem occurs at random intervals

Did you try clearing your cache and turning off all extra extensions?

yes I have done that many times
strange thing is that I just recently installed opera and it is also showing the same behaviour, only IE works!

If I remember correctly, I started having this problem after I changed some setting from the ati radeon catalyst control centre, but then again .. in this case IE also should be effected

    Can anyone give some suggestions?
I am still struggling with this problem and it appears in both FF and Opera, I have also installed Windows many times and have tried by updating to the latest vga drivers ( I have ati radeon xpress 200) but no use , I hate using IE for browsing but I am stuck with it for many months now

Do you have Firebug or any similar extensions installed?

What plugins/extensions have you got installed at the moment on both FF and Opera?

I can install firebug if you want, currently I don't have any extra things installed in FF or opera just using the default configs

Are you getting any kind of packet loss or anything? Thats the only thing I can think of, but the problem should also appear in IE. Do you often get "This site cannot be loaded" or any type if similar messages? If the problem persists between multiple installs, your either installing the same software each time thats causing the problem, or the problem lies outside your PC. Something that IE works around, but Firefox and Opera do not.
