    Image rollover buttons

I'm trying to create an image gallery, and I want to have the function where if a user rolls over the left / right side of an image, previous and next arrows show up on top of the image and those arrows are links to previous/next images in the database. I can do this in Flash in a snap but I have limited experience with JS. Can anyone point me to any tutorials that demonstrat this type of functionality (if it's even possible in JS?)? I think I remember seeing it somewhere but I have no idea where.

I can't seem to find any information on what I'm looking for on dynamic drive, and I'm not really sure what to search for.

Neither of those are quite what I'm looking for, I need a tutorial that shows me how to place buttons on top of an image that don't appear until hovered over.

That is not a very intuitive mode of operation. Even with textual instructions provided, there would be accessibility issues both for the literacy-shortfallen, foreign visitors and non-mouse users.
Tab-indentation is a crime against humanity.

    Client wants what client gets.

And I figured it out, used a combination of CSS and javascript.

And to think I was going to suggest using CSS for this instead of JavaScript.
