Get element position

Hi:

Is there a way to get ELEMENT (not CURSOR) position in a window?

If I have ID of a , say textbox, can I get it's position in the window?

The reason is I am trying to get a hidden <div> with on change and i want to position it wherever that TEXTBOX is.

is this possible?
