    Hi There,

I've been looking around and trying numerous things but I can't get my sidebar to be flush (100% height in container) with the content div.

Welcome. Since you are using a gradient color on your sidebar will make this a little more challenging. You are going to have to use a repeat-y on your image OR you will just have to make the sidebg.jpg longer

I would tend to enclose both #sidebar-a and #content within a div with the gradient and colour on the background of this, and make the #sidebar-a background transparent. This will make it look like #sidebar-a extends the full height.

In this situation, #sidebar-a div may not even be needed
