Got error 134 from storage engine. Error number 1030

    Hi people,

Sometimes when I execute a query on a database, I get the following error from MySQL:
Got error 134 from storage engine. Error number 1030

Does anyone know what this mean?
What does error 1030 mean and can I get other values for error 134?
I heard people saying that this is an indication that a table got corrupted, but I want to hear more about this problem.

    thanks

error 134 is an error in the index file. REPAIR the table; or drop all the indexes, shutdown the server, delete the .myi file, start the server and recreate the indexes.

    from the mysql manual:
    Error: 1030 SQLSTATE: HY000 (ER_GET_ERRNO)

Message: Got error %d from storage engine
so 1030 is the error you get when the storage subsystem returns an error.
