How to build smart resizing UI like Google Reader/Netvibes etc?
I've always been impressed with Google Reader (and Netvibes) ever since they unveiled their new UI. When I looked at the source code, I was only able to see few div's with apparently no content. I was always intrigued how it worked! So I finally decided to brush up on my JS skills and see if I can figure out how something like this works. When you resize the browser window, the UI adjusts and the scroll bars adjust their positions... and they DON'T use iframes for that. It's like magic
Has anyone out there looked at how Google Reader's "smart" resizing UI works? Are there any resources out there that would allow me to build just the skeleton for something like that?
If you've never seen it, look here: http://google.com/reader/
Amazing stuff... any pointers/help/insight is extremely appreciated!!!
