PHP and Word Files

Hi, every one.
I need help on open the word files which will be used as templates then reading and writing on the specific cursor position or bookmark and after doing this save as to new word file.

hopefully every body understand what i mean to say. please give me quick comments and help on this.

Yes sure,
let say i have got word document in this document there is heading on the top and in the center part of the page there is the text and at the bottom of the page there is company url.. and this document will be used as template.

now what i want to do is open the word document template and change the heading content and bottom content and middle part keeping the same. heading information and bottom information comes from db.

now what i actually want is that to save as this tempates with the new name and then saving to particular directory.

note: i want help on this to be implement with linux and php. no COM object is required coz i am using the linux server.

I wish to read MS Word document content using PHP as like text file and writing on specific position and save as word document.

Is anybody know any open source PHP script for it.
