    Question find out if mouse is over element

    hello, all.

    does anybody know if there is a way to pass an element id and return true or false if the mouse is over that element?

    something like this:

    HTML Code:
    mouseOverStatus(elem);
    Code:
    function mouseOverStatus(elem) {

    return elem.OnMouseOver;

    }
    thanks a 1000!

    you need to assign mouseOver event. But I doubt it pass event.target element, so I am not sure whether you can verify the coming hover element was exactly as you intended.
