Yep.
I have the XTi as my back up camera "just in case", but mostly have it for my wife to use so she stops 'borrowing' my 20D.
I was tempted to buy an XT from an associate who was selling his for $250. It's almost worth it to "experiment" with (I want to turn one into an IR capabale camera)

Fujifilm FinePix S5600. I hope to be able to own an EOS 400D (Digital Rebel) in the near future.

I have
1. Sony DSF 828 with add on lenses 8mp
2. Sony R1 with add on lenses 10mp
3 Canon G7 10 mp
Of the three my overall favorite is still camera No. 1 as it is great for Infra Red shots, I really enjoy playing with curves and producing some way out pictures with the original shots.
The R1 is a brilliant camera, but it doesn't have the Infra red option which I feel was a serious mistake on Sony's behalf.
The Canon is probably one of the best top of the range point and shoots available. (I use this mainly for carnivals when I'm in costume wanting to take pictures on the go.)
My personal wish list is the Pentax K10D which is a waterproof case, with waterproof lenses - I'm getting that next year I'm still undecided on the lenses I want.

I have a Nikon D40 and D50 with 18-135, 50 1.8d, 55-200 and 70-300VR lenses and a SB-600 flash!
Planning to pick up a D80 soon!
I guess thats more than you wanted to know!

I'm now an owner of a Nikon D40I'm still learning to use the manual settings. So far, I've only used the control wheel which offers seven Digital Vari-Program (idiot) modes. Here's a sample of the macro mode:

Canon Digital Rebel XTi
I have a canon rebel XTi also but its an older version that still uses film unfortunately. but I really want to get the digital version sometime soon
Just chillin

One day canon and nikon will catch up and put some image stabilization in-camera. Like my minolta dynax 5d ;-)
(or sony/pentax dslrs)
According to Canon, the reason they don't is that in-body stabilization is not as effective as stabilization in the lens, especially with longer lenses:

Whether that's true or whether it's just to get us to shell out more cash on each lens I don't know![]()
Film Cameras
Canon AE-1P
Pentax 645
TOYO 45GX (large format camera)
4x5 Speed Graphic press camera (for display only)
Digital
Fuji S2
Fuji S20
I like the S20 for fast moving or no light meter work. Trying to get children to sit still for 10 seconds or photographing in full sun at mid day. It is extremely intuitive.
I really love my old Pentax 645 and the 4x5 though. Just wish there was more hours in a day for shooting and developing B&W film.
Canon 350D or in America know as Rebel
kit lens...
Any advice for new lens... Kit lens is terrible...

well, Sony's DSLRs are same as Minolta & if old Minolta lenses fit on them then any manufacturers Minolta lenses should as well, because as of yet Sony doesn't have its own different mount & I don't think they will if they want to keep their Minolta customers who've collected lenses over a period of time.![]()

i have a Canon 5D. i just can't settle for a SLR without full frame. i mostly use it with a 50mm prime lens.
i kinda like what sony is doing with the minolta line. i used to be a minolta guy during the film days.
I'm using a D40 with the sb600 and sb800. It's all I need right now.

I've just recently invested in the Nikon D40 with the 18-55mm zoom, and apart from the remote control sensor being on the front and having a seemingly very narrow scope, I love it. It's easy to use, lightweight and produces great results. Much, much better than what I got out of my previous three digital (non-SLR) cameras.
I have been using Nikon Coolpix P1 for sometime and looking for another one from Canon.![]()
