Which is the best structure?
Hi
I want to build a site with a layout similar to this one - http://www.all-hotels.com/home.htm
Logo on top
Navigation bar under the logo
Content with 2 colums with the right column occupying about 70% of the content areas
and possibly some boxes under the Content
a Footer
Which is the best approach to this? Shall I use absolute positioning, Fixed liquid etc ? Can Anyone advise the best model and structure for laying out this and that will be supported in both IE and Mozilla browsers?
Many thanks

I would use static positioning, with the content columns floated. Fixed or liquid is up to you.

not sure what you mean by static positioning? Can you elaborate on your approach?

All of this can be acheived with position static. Floats, margins, and padding could easily do all of it.

Thanks-Could you give me an example
I am not expecting you to do the coding for me but just give me an idea of which style element will represent which panel on that site for instance.

Well, you would float: right; the content, and with good widths, this would create this bar view. Use of margins will help you a bunch. Here are some helpful links:

Hope those help!
