    Coder appeals for designers...

May be "appeal" is the wrong word. Probably "begs" is more like it. I'm normally wandering around a couple doors away in the PHP forums.

But now it's come to the crunch and I'm being tragically humiliated by an artistic / page design problem.

    It's all described here: http://www.pitstop1.co.uk/clipboard.html

Basically it's how to I get that clipboard to fit all sizes.

    Many many thanks.

You probably don't need to use the repeat-* if you've laid out your table well. And if you're aiming for NS4 with this thing, I wouldn't rely on stylesheets and do it the old fashioned way too.

As for your first question, that has nothing to do with your markup, I believe. Open up the images in your image editor and crop away the white lines. That way they won't be in the page. :-)

Many thanks! Helped alot - you were right - the gaps weren't caused by HTML - Paintshop Pro had been pulling a fast one on me when cutting and pasting into a new image - only noticed when I blew the images up to 5:1.

And for some unknown reason had never occured to me to use IMG HEIGHT / WIDTH = 100% . Course Netscape (4 / 6) isn't interested in IMG HEIGHT = 100% so the clipboard will only be visible to IE - it's now in action at Pitstop1!
