Random post wordpress plugin

I was doing a search for a Random post wordpress plugin but couldn't find something that matched my need. I need to display the excerpt of the content of a random post that will link the reader back to that blog post in my header. any suggestions? I prefer 2.1 compatible.

I know there are plugins for most popular post or most recent post or for related post but is there one for just a random post?
