Redirect a domain name to a specific folder
Hello:
I reciently build my fatherīs site. I also got a domain name registred (is an argentinian domain .com.ar)
Now, I and want to redirect this url to a specific folder in the mayor site of the company iīm working.
I got the root access to the server so, which are the comands lines to do it ??

Which web server and platform are you using (i.e. IIS on Win2K, Apache on Linux)? Without knowing this, it's hard to point you in the right direction.

I am not sure about scripts. The easiest way is to use a service like Mydomain.com (I think it is still free)

All the sites of my company are sore in the /www/sites folder, the site I try to redirect is there too but seems to not working now.
I type the url and the site is not showed

No command lines.. just configuration settings:
Since you run apache.. just change the DocumentRoot directive to the desired folder. Remember to include the full path..
Don't forget the restart the webserver (apache! I don't mean rebooting the machine!!)
