    JavaScript HTML Marquee Direction

    Hello,

    I have a marquee that just goes up or down, depending on what i set the tag direction to

    HTML Code:
    <marquee direction="up">
    stuff
    </marquee>

    Above and below that I have two images which i intend to use as buttons. The buttons are up and down arrows.

    The thing is, I want to make this so when i press up it moves up and when i press down it obviously move down

    I though maybe one of you JavaScripters could help me on this, as I'm not Keane on JavaScript even though it is such a great language....

    Thanks
    Aaron

    You shouldn't use <marquee> for accessibility and X/HTML validity reasons.

    If you must have scrolling text, you should provide a method to stop the scrolling. There are many JavaScript scrollers around.
