opening pop up using hidden form field value

Hi all,

I'm working on a form that allows to set an URL in a <input type="hidden"> field and instead of making it go to that URL directly I'd rather have it to open the URL in a pop up and staying on the page.

Any suggestions?

use window.open function to do so. By the way, how do you want it to go to new page, e.g. triggered by form submission ?
