    create multi-user blog with RoR

    Hi
    I am really new to RoR and not a great programmer. I would like to put together a site where people can create their own blog (sort of like blogger much simple and small). The part I am confused about it when a user signs up and creates their account should they get their own subdirectory with all the files generated. If so how would I go about creating that? Any tips would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

    The easiest way to go about that is to not actually create a "subdirectory" for a user, more so, just using their blog name or username as the subdomain or "account key".

    Rails makes it super easy to do this using the Account Location plugin located here:

    In Rails it's more common to save data in a database than in files. If a user signs up you create a row in the "users"-table (his account).
