need some guidance on user account (mysql)
The title of this thread isn't good, and I can't think of a good title...anywho.
I have been working with ruby intensely for the pass week, and I want to know I should setup a user account.
I got the login generator working, and I need some guidance on how I should setup the mysql for this:
Each user logins (signups) then in there account they can upload a image, name, bio, and age.
So the variables would be : image_path , user_name, bio, age
should I put these into the users table? or should they be in another table with a foreign key of the user? like user_id and make the table user_details
I basically need to make a small program for people to sign up, edit some sort of bio info, and display it. I need help now on how to setup the database for the best pratice.
I will be back later with more questions on how to get it display and what not lol
I hope my question is clear enough to answer.
Thanks for any help!
