    calling external pages, internally

i'm trying to write a php page that will call another page and pass it variables (essentially logging in) and then automatically go to another page to pass variables without the actual user seeing the page. all the pages i'm trying to call are not on my server. is this possible?

    thanks in advance.

Not sure if this is the answer, but try checking out PHP's socket functions.

The Simpletest library has a scriptable browser component, which can be used on its own:
