How much is my blog worth?

    The blog is:

    PR6
    Avg 14,000 uniques a month
One of the leading blogs in it's field
Earnt 6,500 in the last 12 months
    Over 400 posts

This revenue providing that the blog remains at PR6 and is therefore promoted will continue to earn good revenue as the companies will want to continue to advertise

No adsense on the site, so could increase revenue considerably.

I am not sure if I want to sell at the moment so I am not going to give away the URL. At the moment just looking at a price I could get for the blog.

    Any ideas?

Sorry Darren, discussing pricing is against the SP rules...

Oh, sorry, I wasn't aware of that.

So I can't ask for advice on how to price a blog?

No worries, I wasn't berating you.

Yup, you can ask for advice on anything, you just can't ask what it's worth.

    Thanks Hawk.

    Forget my initial post.

How can I work out how much my blog is worth? I've heard someone say times the annual revenue by 2.5.

I have seen some say 6 months profit for websites and 2.5 years for a company.

Nice to see people who do not get upset when someone post something they are not aware is against rules. Some forums and moderators can be ignorant but sitepoint seems to have some of the better people on any forum.

Everyone helps out no matter what the topic and no one is nasty.

this comes back to the issue on how monetizing a blog £6,500 is really good money, considering this as side income.
