    Unhappy ajax question

    i want to load text from a simple txt file into a div.
    so far it is working with an asp file:
    Code:
     xmlHttp.onreadystatechange=stateChanged;
    xmlHttp.open("GET","time.asp",true);
    xmlHttp.send(null);
    i tried to replace the time.asp with a txt file but it doesnt work , so i am not sure how to create my txt file.

    ???

    Your .asp script must read the .txt file.
