    ROR installation and running help

Ive just downloaded the windows installer for ruby on rails and installed it.

Im going through my book and talks about mysql, i have to install that as well. But i have it installed under apache. Can i use that?

Also it is telling me to open the rails command console? I couldnt find a rails one so opened cmd but the command "rails createapp" doesnt work?

Any help appreciated to get me going.

Your old MySQL is likely fine.

    Check out http://www.rubyonrails.org/down
Have you done everything before "Make your application", or just the first step?
Is c:\ruby\bin or whatever in your system path?

I had WAMP server installed before I used ROR and it works fine with ROR. I also use navicat to edit the mySQL, but it should work fine.
