Toggling Javascript slider from left to right

There are so many solutions regarding the JavaScript slider, but those are not working.

Actually I need a script for a horizontal slider, it mean clicking the link a panel will slide in with fade in effect and clicking the close button it will slide out with fade out on reverse direction.

You got wrong perception , I mean a full panel not volume or control slider. The panel is made in using div.

Yes, u r absolutely right, but that should be slowly animated, not like to and fro. with fade in and fade out effect
