    suggestion for wordpress advertising/banner plugin

    I'm looking for a plugin that will allow me to rotate banners ads from advertisers who sign up with me. Please note that I'm not looking for google adsense plugin types. Instead, I'm looking for something that will allow me to rotate banners that I have in stock already. And more specifically, it would allow me to control over which banner ads show up in various areas of my blog, ie; the post, the search results, etc...

    Anyone have a good recommendation for this?

    WordPress Widgets: Ad Rotator
    WordPress Plugin: AdRotator

    I haven't checked/used any of them though.

    I would use an if elseif statement to do it:
    PHP Code:
    <?php
    if ( is_home() ) {
    echo
    "<a href='#' title='#'><img src='banner1.gif' alt='#' width='#' height='#' /></a>";
    } elseif (
    is_single() ) {
    echo
    "<a href='#' title='#'><img src='banner2.gif' alt='#' width='#' height='#' /></a>";
    } elseif (
    is_category() ) {
    echo
    "<a href='#' title='#'><img src='banner3.gif' alt='#' width='#' height='#' /></a>";
    } else {
    echo
    "<a href='#' title='#'><img src='banner4.gif' alt='#' width='#' height='#' /></a>";
    }
    ?>
    There is a list of available conditional tags available for WP here.

    Hope it helps.

    Varelse- Adrotator plugin doesn't look too bad.

    Ben- that is one way to do it. Though, I should mention this is for a client and he wants to be as independent as possible w/o having to rely on me-the designer, to do everything for him.

    However, after some scouring and testing, I did find WP Ads to be somewhat useful http://thesandbox.wordpress.com/wpads/

    Ad Spaces by Semiologic seems to be the most robust; http://www.semiologic.com/software/ad-space/

    Of course, I'd have to fork over $200 for their package, though.
