Iframes or not Iframes, thats the question

I want to put some sort of scrolling in one of my web pages that I am designing, I am considering IFrames, but I have also came across a javascript method, and DHTML(proably the same as javascript or close). My question is which would be better? Iframes would be easy to do, but I am thinking about the browser support for Iframes.

The bottom line here is that I want to be able to edit a separate html Doc and have it display within another page.

    Thanks

Browser support for iframes is very good they are suppoerted by IE 3+ and NS 6, but not NS4, not sure about opera. If you are bothered about the very small minority who still use NS4 then avoid them if not then they are far better than DHTML scrollers.
