A quickie Q: Is WP.org Admin page meant to look like this?

Unformatted? I have a WP.com blog and the Dashboard is basic but does have some styling. I just would love to know if this is meant to look like this on istallation, then I am supposed to customize it? It also does not show up on my blog's home page, like my free/wp.com one. I have spent the better bit of the morning trying to search out this info on WP.org, but nothing definitive. I am sure that I am not "that' severely technotarded. Am I?

No it should not look like that, it appears the stylesheet for the admin area is not being loaded.

What a naughty blog I have. It decided to participate with out getting mommy's permission first.

Okay, it's had it's fun, now time to get dressed.

How do I sort out my CSS? I can see it sitting on my server.

I cannot say for sure, but again my guess is an .htaccess issue.

    admin CSS

The admin-header.php file has this line
    PHP Code:
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php echo get_option('siteurl'?>/wp-admin/wp-admin.css?version=<?php bloginfo('version'); ?>" type="text/css" />
so if your "siteurl" option isn't set right it won't find the file in the wp-admin folder.

It was a permissions issue, I fixed it for her.
