What's A Good Site To Start Blogging ON

Hey guys, I'm currently new to blogs, but I would love to start. I was wondering what would be a good site to start on, if not my own, and if there's any tips. Most of you members seem like professionals so I figured it'd be nice to get some help.

http://www.blogger.com - would be a good start it's free and easy to use it
http://www.typepad.com - is based on movable type but you'd need to pay to use it
http://www.wordpress.org - is the easiest to install and use if you want to run the blog on your own server.

If you're looking for a hosted service and want to do a personal blog, vox.com is pretty nice. They also do things to help you write, such as asking a question of the day that you can answer and tag so other users can find your response. It's good for someone who's just starting out blogging but might not know what to write about

If you do end up wanting to move to your own site, you can always download the usual suspects like Wordpress and Movable Type and see which software you like using the best.

There is also Wordpress.com for a hosted version of WP, though some of the functionality is limited compared to a copy of WP installed on your own sever.

Blogger is extremely easy to setup, and also very easy to maintain. But I do love Wordpress.
