Is this an official offer from SitePoint?

Not sure if this is a palce to ask, if not, please move.

I received a pm from a member name <snip>. Would like to know is it an official offer from SitePoint? or it's another pm spam?

No, it's not an official offer from us at all.

I guess so. The sender mention SitePoint to make it looks like a kind of partnership offer. If this is a way SitePoint allowed, i'm afraid many will do the same.

SitePoint will never know it has been used by someone in the pm unless someone disclose. I know this kind of pm spam is very common in many forums. Just curious how SitePoint will deal with this? banned the sender or banned the ip of the sender? or there are other better ways?

Name and PM removed. No need to give them free advertising. And they have been dealt with.

Wow, that's a bit creepy. Doesn't that creep into the realm of fraudulent use of a corporate identity? Especially the use of the SitePoint name in the coupon....
