Red Hat Help
I need a couple web sites that explain how to set up a web server, how to configure it to work on a network, and just all around a beginners user guide on Red Hat. Thanks!

Try this PDF. http://www.fuelhosting.com/redhat.pdf
It will help you install it. As far as apache being installed you can simply find the RPM on www.rpmfind.net and then install it. If your server is setup correctly it shouldnt be too hard to get your default apache page coming up. I believe there are also tools you may want to look into.
Try this one: http://apachetoolbox.com/ --- If you need a control panel for free try http://www.webmin.net
Apache Toolbox is simple to install and comes with just about everything you will need. I highly recommend that one.
The attached PDF will help you install RED HAT 7.1 which is pretty easy. ;-)
Good luck.Last edited by Fuel Hosting; Jan 24, 2002 at 18:56.
