Possible Doctype Issue

Hey everyone,

I'm working on a site for a client and I started getting strange errors in Firefox and not in IE. If you could please view the following page in both browsers:

In firefox, there is a strange few characters in the top left corner that push the layout around. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!

The layout is broken in FF Mac too...

FF seems to be picking up some weird characters at the very beginning of the document.

Try putting the cusor in your code immediately after the "<" here:

<!DOCTYPE

and back space several times, type "<", save and then see if that fixes it.

Also you should use UTF-8 encoding according to DW.

It looks as if you've saved the source file as UTF-8 with a BOM (byte order mark). This will cause problems in some browsers and the BOM is completely unnecessary for UTF-8. Try re-saving it without the BOM.
