I use Gallery. I've been using it for over 4 years now.

This is a good tool to share with everyone...not familiar with some of them- thanks!

It is what you make of it!

I'll have to check those out. I gave up on finding/building a script and just got a flickr account.

I also use Coppermine Photo Gallery. I'm quite glad about it.

While searching for photo gallery scripts for work I came across Plogger, which in comparison to Gallery, is a much more simplistic and nice looking gallery script. If you don't need all the power and fluff of Gallery, it might be a nice alternative. For pure flashiness (no pun intended), I absolutely love Sephiroth's amfphp version of a Gallery...I simply cannot set it up as I don't have Flash 8 (I have flash 7)
They say, "Practice makes perfect," yet they also say, "Nobody's perfect". I don't get it.
If you asking me ZendPhoto is a great one... So simple and powerful.
before zendphoto I used gallery2 but it is so big and it will eat up your web space
Sample gallery you can find here http://www.mangiaphoto.com/gallery/

I'm experimenting with the built in web photo gallery in Adobe Photoshop CS 2.
It's under File > Automate > Export Web Gallery
So far it's pretty cool for large batches of photos. Not perfect but it's fast!!

I've used several, but I really like Gallery

I like Gallery a lot too but I have trouble integrating it seemlessly into websites.
If you asking me Gallery is to big for me. It has to much files, eats to much resources... Yes it has hundreds plugins but I don't need them.

I don't recommend it because it is static gallery. It is hard to add images, hard to make categories,... Much better solution is using PHP+MySql based galleries. For example zenphoto, pixelpost etc. Very good open source galleries.![]()
