menu crossing with layers?
Hi,
I have now set-up a DHTML menu, thanks mostly to the help and support of YOU, the sitepoints readers and their kind hints and tips.
I now have a small problem, the drop down menus use layers, so is it possible to still use other layers in my site. I ask because If I use layers or drop down boxes, the information in my dropdown menus scramble with each other.
Any help advice would be great, I use Dreamweaver 4 and as already advised I have set the Z-index of the dropdown menus to 10.
Thanks in advance

i ran into this problem awhile back. it has something to do with the drop down box being considered an object. The only solution I know of is, to move the drop down box down on the page so that it is "below" the longest layer.
