avatars

i've noticed that some of the forum members have their own custom avatars in their thread posts. i want to do this also but don't know how to bring in my own avatar. i looked in the control panel under "edit avatar" but could not find anything relating to using your custom made avatar

am i missing something? any help would be appreciated. thanx

You'll be given that option when you reach 25 posts.

Like UB said, you'll get the option after 25 posts. It's one of those reward things for forum participation

Is it this true for when you have 25 posts? Or will it only work once you are past the 25 post mark?? And how soon after that can you then personlize your avatar??

Geez!! how come I can't get access to change or make my avatar to be changed to one of my personal custom images? I can't even find a difference of options under my edit avatar. what's going on??? why won't it let me choose my custom avatar? Or why is it not showing that option that I can then choose from???

You have wait until vbulletin recognizes your post count and changes permissions for you. It can take up to an hour to occur.
