Moderating submissions

I'm working through the SP book, and have a slightly different use for the Shovell engine.

I want to collect user submissions as text (css code), and have the ability to moderate the submissions before they are live on the site.

Has anyone seen a working tutorial on admin side (or superuser) moderation?

the first thing i've in mind is putting a flag in the database to "flag" things in queue

I like that. The SP book is ok, but it really doesn't go enough in depth into building the administrative side of the application. The way Shovell is presented, it's basically asking to be spammed.

?....why do you say that? In shovell things you want to be protected are protected by the login system so you can protect everything you want.
