    Database Login strategies

    Hello everyone,

    I need to create a login form for a web application using php ,
    I wonder how generally u create user profiles!, i mean do you save in the database the name of pages permitted for every user! and when a user logs in, the names of all the pages allowed for him is taken from the database to sessions?

    what is the strategies used conserning a database login tables?
    If you can inform me with a few articles i'll be thanksfull,

    please help ,

    there are so many things that u can do for a login script, obviously u need a database, with regards to the pages users are permitted to see, instead of storing the pages they are allowed to view, instead give them different access levels e.g. users, admin, moderator etc.

    and then any pages that u want only to be viewed by admin, at the start of the page u can have a conditinal statemnent to check there users level.
