cron script result.. can it be made to exist in memory?

this is what i want to do..

i need to run a cron script maybe once every day. in this script i'm going to build an object from a database result. Ok, now here's my question.. is there a way to make this returned variable exist in memory after the cron scripts execution? I'm considering this as a solution to my problem because performance is very important. this object will be huge.

    thanks in advance!

    Two options:

    1. write it to a file
    2. save it in a database
