Amongst the Studio 8 package I've got is Flashpaper which purports to produce accessible documents for web pages. Up to now I've used convert to PDF facilities to get documents on-line.
Is there a debate on the comparison of these methods (Flashpaper v PDF)?
Or just comment here as I'd like your considered opinion.
If some of the source documents change and require the website to be updated I've always considered it a pain to update HTML versions so PDF seems to save time.
Sorry, Flashpaper is ADOBE and comes with Studio 8. It allows docs to be viewed within the webpage and sems to make them very accessible.
I was trying to find out if CS3 suites include it, If not is there an equivalent new feature in there.
In answer to the last post, No. Although that is a bit flash but not really impressed with that.
I'm trying to get my mind around the accessibility ssues with PDF. Some argue that it is for downloading files for printing (page based, not screen based, etc.). Flashpaper seems to provide an alternative to HTMLing documents.
Please comment further as I'm interested about documents and viewing them in web pages and want the best solution.
ok not the same product, but sounds quite similar; "It allows docs to be viewed within the webpage" and the the thing i linked to allows pdfs to be viewed in a web page via flash.
anyway, not heard of flashpaper until now, thanks for pointing it out.
