most are from www.vbulletin.org

we have worked with about 8 different programmers to get everything in an tweaked just right.

For me the most important are:

-rules hack
-sig limit
-limit image and url post for under X posts (spam defeater )
-topic description
-downloads
-cash/shop mod

and some more I fail to recall. I have 20 + hacks installed on my VB and I am still finding new stuff. I am a mod installer freak I assume

vbadvanced is the best vbulletin hack for me

for me it was a new template, a side column, a "welcome header" which is more noob friendly. Also a banner rotation system, a mod rewrite for SEO, and an email system to notify inactive users.

Dont mod you board too much, it slows it down

its best to get them from vbulletin.org or .com, they are checked over there. Less likely to mess things up as mods have to approved there before shown to public i think

The one that I have had for a very long time and I still can't believe it's not a part of the default vB is rep comment display in the postbit.

I really like vbDrupal. It's a true CMS that integrates with vBulletin, as opposed to vBadvanced which is more of a portal and forum summary page, in my opinion.

I think the best hack was the vBHosting hack: it was been prohibited some years ago, by the Jelsoft official developers. A great hack that let you create a Multiforum system, using your vBulletin.

There are some fantastic free templates available, however if you want something unique, it is worth it to purchase one.
