    Play song from drop down list

    I have a htmlpage with a dropdown list having the song title & song_url
    When i run this page where the song URL is stored locally in my C Drive.. it works great..
    i just have to choose a song to hear it

    However... when i upload the songs to the web (say googlepages ) and try to access it though my blogspot page.. it just refuses to work..

    Can any one tell me what am i doing wrong here

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    function chooseSong(el){
       sel = el.options[el.selectedIndex];

       if(!sel.value){
          alert('Please choose an option');
       }
       else{

    song ='<embed controls="console" width="200" autostart="true" src="' + sel.value + '"

     height="70" name="playsong"> </embed>';
       }
       document.getElementById('PLAY').innerHTML = song
    }
    </script>

    FINAL PLAY LIST

    <form name="form3">
        <select onchange="chooseSong(this)">
    <option/>Select a song<option value="http://deepa7476.googlepages.com/BHARATHI.mp3"/>Bharathi
    <option value="http://www.geocities.com/deep7476/Music/SPB_VannamKonda.mp3"/>Vannam
    <option value="http://deepa7476.googlepages.com/01MadhubanMeinRadhikaNache.mp3"/>Madhuban
    <option value="http://deepa7476.googlepages.com/Pinakkamaanoo.mp3"/>Pinakkamaanoo
    </select></form>
    <p>&nbsp;</p>
    <div id="PLAY"></div>
