    getElementByCoordinate

    Hi,
I'm looking for away to find an html element in my page, which is at a specific location. So I would like to know which html element is located at say: (300, 400). Like

    .getElementByCoordinate(300, 400)

The only thing I can think of is to traverse all elements and see which meets the requirement. Does anyone know a standard approach, or has a more clever idea?
    thx

Sorry - I can't help with this question, but reading it reminds me of the old days of BASIC where we would PEAK and POKE to get/set elements at screen locations.
